Creating a bundle

Once you have the Product Bundles app installed, you can now begin creating your offers. You can either create your own bundle manually or set the app to create the bundle automatically.

Creating your own bundle

Follow the steps below to create your own bundle.

1: Launch the app and click Create an Offer.
2: Enter the quantity and the products that you want to be in the bundle.
3: Set the type of discount and the amount that you want to put into this bundle. In this example, we are setting it to a fixed amount of 50 Euros.
4: (Optional) Enter a bundle message in the field provided.
5: (Optional) Enter a success message in the field provided.
6: Click Save.

Creating an auto bundle

The app can automatically create a bundle if you decide to let it choose the products for you instead of doing it on your own. This is more useful since the app would detect the products that have been purchased together in the past in order to create your bundle. Follow the steps below to learn how:

1: Click Create an Offer.
2: Click the Create an auto bundle link.
3: A pop-up window will show you the bundles that the app is able to generate. Click Add Bundle if you wish to use the bundle that appears or click Another Bundle if you want to explore more bundle offers.
4: Set the type of discount and the amount that you want to put into this bundle.
5: Click Save.

No-discount bundle

Bundles can be created with no discount. This can be handy if you want to simply suggest a bundle instead of providing them a discount for one. Follow the steps below:

1: Launch the app and click Create an Offer.
2: Enter the quantity and the products that you want to be in the bundle.
3: Under Set Discount, choose No Discount.
4: Click Save.

Showing more than one bundle

The number of bundles that you can set to appear on the product page is set to 1 by default. However, you can set the number to more than one if you prefer. We recommend not to set the number too high to improve conversion rates. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this:

1: On the Dashboard, go to Settings.
2: Under Customize Design, click Bundle Design.
3: Scroll down to the BUNDLE SETTINGS section and enter the maximum number of bundles that you want to be displayed on a product page. In this example, we enter 5.
4: Click Save.

Common Questions

Can I create a bundle using only one product with different variants?
This is not possible since the app allows you to create bundle offers using different products and not with different variants. The app is designed to detect and apply discount offers with different products, and variants are not considered as such. If your product has several variants, it would be listed as variants unless you added them separately as different products in Shopify.

Can I make the bundle discount appear even if the customer adds a different product to the cart?
No. As you create your discount offer as you set up your store using the app, you need to specify which product you want to put into a bundle. This is a must each time you create an offer so you cannot set the app to apply the bundle offer to any of the products or make just any bundle.

Is there a limit to the number of bundles that can show on a product page?
No, there is no limit to the number of offers that can be shown on the product pages. However, it would be best for you to set a limited number when creating the offers in order to avoid overcrowding the product pages. There should be a proper distance and spacing between the offers to make sure each one is displayed clearly. we highly recommend limiting the number to a maximum of 25. Creating too many offers may cause the app to delay and perform a bit slower than expected.
